Shipping & Expediting Policy

Standard Shipping

Free standard shipping may be available for qualifying orders. Customers may request free shipping consideration, and eligibility will be determined based on current shipping guidelines.

Orders that do not qualify will be subject to applicable shipping charges.Free shipping will be sent standard freight or ground, any other freight requests will be paid by the customer.

Order Fulfillment Standard

Orders are shipped complete as the standard practice.

If an order contains special items that are not in stock and have a lead time of one week or more, those items may be separated to a new order, allowing available items to ship without delay.

Orders for VMI items will be shipped separately from regular stock items.

Orders that are split into multiple orders may incur small order fees and/or additional shipping charges.

When quotes are prepared, stock items and long lead-time items (one week or more) will be provided on separate quotes whenever possible to clearly communicate availability and lead times.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping options may be available upon request and are subject to review and approval by our team based on order status and shipping feasibility. If an expedited request is approved, customers will be notified of any applicable fees prior to shipment.

Expedited shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the need for expediting is the result of an error made by Fasteners Direct.

Partial Shipments

Customers may request a partial shipment of available items.

When partial shipments are requested:

• A separate order will be created for the available items
  
  
• Standard small order and shipping policies will apply

Order Changes

Orders may be modified within 24 hours of purchase order confirmation.

After 24 hours:

• Order changes after 24 hours are subject to an order change fee.
  
  
• Additional items may require a separate order
  
  
• Standard minimum order and shipping policies will apply
  
  

Orders cannot be modified once they have entered the warehouse.
