Tim Parr - FD Systems Installation / SME

As Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the fastener industry, I bring 30+ years of experience and a deep understanding of all aspects of fasteners, including their design, manufacturing, testing, and application. My role often includes ensuring the safety and reliability of products and systems that rely on fasteners primarily in the manufacturing sector.

Here are just a few of my responsibilities as SME:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on the selection, use, and application of fasteners
• Develop and implement new fastener strategies and creative time and/or cost saving solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve fastener-related problems
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fastener industry trends and developments

I also work closely with our team to design and install FD Systems on location. This includes setting up a basic VMI system, the FD SureStock system (next level VMI), and FD Stock and Lock as needed. Since each site is unique, we make sure that each system is properly integrated into existing infrastructure. Our custom designed card and scanner system as well as the state-of-the-art RFID are the most common installations.
