Shipping Policy

FD offers a full range of Standard and Express Shipping options for package delivery and LTL carriers. Shipping is usually sent via prepay & add, third party or collect on your preferred carrier.

If you are interested in getting shipping included in your product price to have a final delivered price, please request from our client care team and they will set up your account to ship 'Best Way' with no charge for shipping or handling. Use promo code 'FREESHIP' for free shipping and handling on orders over $500.

Minimum Order

FD is primarily a business-to-business entity and only opens accounts for businesses that can supply a valid Federal ID number. Any Individual will need to place an order as 'Guest' and FD requires all "Guest" orders on Website to be a minimum of $100. Any amount below $100 US will be assessed a minimum order charge equal to the difference between your cart order total and $100 US.

Payments

  • Payments can be made by credit card, check, or cash.
  • ACH options are also available. Customers must reach out to our accounts receivable department.
  • Some orders may be subject to COD term.

Orders

Orders placed before 2:00 P.M. EST qualify for same-day shipping* and can be faxed to (585) 265-6678, emailed to sales@fastenersdirect.com, called into Fasteners Direct (585) 265-1990, or submitted via the Fasteners Direct website.

  • All special-made and fabricated items are non-refundable.
  • All special-made and fabricated items have a standard +/- 10%.
  • Certs are available upon request, with a possible additional cost.

*Fasteners Direct currently ships to the USA and parts of Canada.
*Out of stock items will ship when available.

Returns

Authorization for return product must be requested within 30 days of invoice date and will be assessed for a re-stock fee. Return shipping will be arranged and paid for by customer, who also must attach a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from each package. The RMA is supplied by Fasteners Direct.

The credit will usually be issued within 10 business days or less after receipt of the product at the Fasteners Direct Facility.

When requesting a return please include the following:

  1. Company name & address
  2. Original order number
  3. Part(s) you wish to return and quantity
  4. Reason for return
  5. Contact information such as name, phone number, and email
  6. If you can, please upload your original invoice and/or packing slip
